Need a suggestion for a new car stereo?

Just bought a 2003 tahoe and I'd like to put in a new stereo. The car has all Bose speakers I just want a good stereo that works well with them. Must be a double din to fit. I have an iphone but my husband uses Droid so I want something compatible with more than just the iphone. I'd like USB and aux plug in. Possibly Bluetooth. Any suggestions? Under $200?

A decent double-din that meets all your wants is the Pioneer X700BT. Solid choice.

That said, you don't HAVE to install a double-din. They make a dash kit that will allow you to install a single-din headunit and it has a small pocket to take up the extra space. Just in case you weren't aware.

THAT said, you are aware you're going to need some parts for installation, correct? You'll need a dash kit regardless if you decide on a single-din or double-din, you'll need an FM antenna adapter and, unfortunately, you'll need a GM interface harness which is Metra's GMOS-04. The interface is expensive, no doubt, but completely necessary for the 03 Tahoe with Bose. If you buy everything online, you can probably slide in right at $200 total.

PS… If you have steering wheel controls for the radio, they're not going to work with anything except the factory radio, unless you purchase the Metra ASWC interface as well. Sucks. I know. I deal with 200 people a month in your exact position.

Take it to a radio/stereo shop and ask the someone who work there, i'm sure there's something to fit your buget.
