New iPhone 5s restore issue?
I just received a new iPhone 5s in the mail -- 32 gbs -- and I went to restore it from my old 5c. It worked well enough, but the new iPhone is already saying that there's not enough storage, which makes 0 sense to me. It is listing the total available space as 13 gbs -- not anything close to 32. How do I make the phone recognize that it has 32 gbs of storage (or something close to that)?
Connect your device to your computer using the cable that came with it.
Select your iPhone, iPad, or iPod when it appears in iTunes.
In the Summary panel, click Restore.
Click Restore again to confirm that you want to restore your device to factory settings and delete all data and content.
- When you restore an iphone from itunes backup does it restore messages? I need to restore my iPhone 4S in iTunes, will I lose my messages or will it leave the messages from my most recent back up?
- Issue with new update on instagram? Is anyone else having a issue with instagram after they updated the new update today which features video? I have a jailbroken iphone 5 ios 6.1. After updating instagram today the app has disappeared from my phone and when I go to the app store it shows the box to open the app as though its still installed on my phone but when I click on the box nothing happens.
- If you disabled FindMyiPhone to restore your device, will the app be enabled again after the restore? A few weeks ago I upgraded to the iPhone SE and I restored the data from my iPhone 4s onto it. (I had to disable FindMyiPhone in the process). Little did I know that it would be lost/stolen 2 weeks later. Really need to know if FindMyiPhone would be enabled because I want to know if I still have any hope at all finding it. Thanks. I tried the app already… Says it's offline. Been waiting since.
- If I restore my iPhone will it restore other devices using the same apple ID? My mum using the same apple ID as me an is worried that if I restore my phone then it will delete all of her photos and stuff to. Our phones are kind of linked through the ID but that's all.
