New mac laptop! ITunes sync issues?

I just got a new MacBook Air today! It's my first apple computer, I'm switching over from a Dell and I'm having some iTunes issues. I have a lot of music that I bought off of the iTunes store but there are quite a few songs that are in my iTunes library that were not bought through iTunes but are just in the library. Since I'm having to switch all my stuff over, I'm having some issues. Most all the music that I had bought is already in the new iTunes library on the MacBook because of icloud I think. When I hooked my iphone up to the mac, it asked if I wanted to sync my phone library (with all my songs on it) with the new itunes library that doesn't have all my songs on it, which would mean I would have to erase All my songs off my phone and replace it with the few I have on my new computer. What I'm basically asking here is, how do I get all the songs from my Iphone onto my new computer without erasing them all? Sorry if this is confusing!

Itunes has been messed up lately, I just restart my iPhone and mac and its fine for like one synching session

If from the laptop just transfer with a flash drive & you won't have to worry about erasing of files.

Transfer purchases.a window pops up and asks you about it, unless youve already cancelled it or something

  • My IPhone won't sync with my itunes on my new laptop? I bought a new laptop recently and my iphone won't sync with it. The computer is authorised and I'm using the same iTunes account on my laptop as my phone, it does detect the phone but when I try to sync it nothing happens, it finishes in a few seconds and nothing has changed on either device. I haven't tried restoring my phone to it's factory settings yet because I'm hoping there's another option? Any help is appreciated
  • IPhone 4s connection issues? Update issues? I updated my iPhone 4s and as it turned on it will not let me go past the set up as it says I don't have a developer account? I'm not a developer and I do not have a developer account I can't restore the device as since I did the update the phone won't connect! WHAT SHOULD I DO? If anything does anyone have a developer account just so I can get into my phone? Yes I updated to iOS7 well tried and I can't restore as it won't connect
  • If I sync another iphone to my iTunes will this delete my previous sync on iTunes? I synced my phone to iTunes and now let's say I want to sync my friends iphone to the same computer. Will this delete my previous sync? I'm hoping it does because I want my previous sync deleted as I don't want others getting my stuff on their iPhones thanks heaps
  • I've been using my iPhone on my Mac, but my Mac's busted. Can I use it with the iTunes on my PC? I had a MacBook pro which has had problems. Luckily I have a new PC with iTunes on it. What happens when I connect my iPhone to the PC and try and Sync music or update the software? Will it work?
