No actions on legacy comments?

Ever since a few days ago on YouTube on my iphone 4, whenever I try to reply to a comment, it says "no actions on legacy comments. What in the world does that mean? Is this just some dumb bug that YouTube is having right now?

Legacy comments refers to a comment posted by another user in response to one that you have posted.
What google/youtube is attempting to achieve by not allowing us to respond to comments made in response to ours, is to allow us to view more comments on each video page.

for example you know the old feature 'click to show comment'? Well often people clicked it too many times to trace a conversation, which would tben clog up the comments page with old comments, and that would prevent them from viewing current comments.

This system, while having it's uses, is, understandably proving particularly unpopular, and while previous changes to youtube have remained despite receiving complaints, I think this comment problem will be abolished sooner or later.

  • Why do my comments delete on instagram? Every time I comment on someone's picture the next day my comments from our conversations are deleted. Also every time my girlfriend tags me in a picture. The notification shows up on my iPhone, but when I open the app there's nothing there.

At first I thought it was my Android, but then I tried my moms iPhone and iPad, it still disappeared. I'm beyond annoyed and want to know how I can fix this.
