No sim? Says searching? What do I do?
Everytime when I turn on my iPhone, it'll say either "searching…" or "no sim" at the top. I've tried resrting my phone, taking out the sim card and puting it back in, turning on made and turning it off. Help me please?! I don't know what to do, and I need to be able to get in touch with people.
Are you trying to use a SIM card from another provider?
If so you need to unlock the phone.
If not, contact your service provider.
- My iphone says i'm connected to Wi-Fi but when i try to run something it says i'm not connected? My phone shows signal, it has a check mark by the device but when i try to open an app it says can't find a connection.
- My IPhone 5C has no service and says Searching. How do I fix it? It doesn't let me text or make calls. We tried buying a new phone and that didn't work so we went and got a new SIM card and that didn't work. I reset my network settings and that didn't work. Anybody have any ideas?
- My Iphone 3gs says no service/searching. What can I do? I have a 3gs that has been unlocked. The TMobile sim card is in, but it says searching/no service. The carrier does say TMobile. I went through troubleshooting with TMobile and nothing. IOS is 6.0.1 and baseband is 05.16.08.

I got this iPhone 4S from a cousin in USA I live In India She had put her sim in it earlier but when she gave me I put my sim In it but still it's showing searching even after putting the sim I can use the internet as well as I can call someone and receive calls then y is it showing searching?
