No wireless connection option on my laptop?
I have a Gateway W323-UI1, and there's no option for wireless connections. I go to Control panel, then network and internet connections, then Network connections, and All it shows is Local area connections. I've tried setting up a wireless network, and creating a new one. It just doesn't work.
I recently had to reinstall windows, and before, if connected just fine, but now I'm having the wireless issue, and I have to plug in an ethernet cable to be able to get on the internet.
Does anyone know how to fix this?

It allows you to have a Wi-Fi on another laptop or cell phone by enabling your personal hotspot from your iphone but remember that it only works when you enable your 3g or cellular network of iphone by enabling your personal hotspot just try it by opening the other phone Wi-Fi it shows you the Wi-Fi of your cell there you have to enter the password, password can be found in the bottom of that personal hotspot just scroll it down and you have your password.
thank you. When you reinstalled Windows you likely didn't install the Wi-Fi driver. Looks like you need drivers. If you did not use a recovery disk to reinstall windows, then the drivers may not have been available at the time of installation.
Either get the drivers from Gateway, or find your recovery disk and see if you can add the drivers.
If you right click on "My Computer" and click "Properties" and click the "Device Manger" in the "Hardware" tab, then you may see some flagged devices (such as your wireless ethernet device.)
