Not enough storage to back up my iCloud account?
I went to back up my phone, (I have an iPhone 5c 16 gb) and it says I don't have enough storage. I have 4.7 gb available, and I can't really get anymore without deleting my pictures. How much space do I need have? I don't really want to delete a lot of my stuff.
Mine does this from time to time, what I do is delete the current backup it has and then have it immediately back it up again!
Well, your courtesy (free) iCloud account is only 5gb period so of course 16gb isn't going to fit. You want more, you have to pay Apple. Just sync to iTunes and make a backup of everything there and then set your iCloud settings to only store the most that are most important to you. Cut off contacts or email for example.
Backup everything with iTunes then have iCloud backup the important stuff that way you lose nothing. Best luck.
