Not receiving Textfree messages on my iPhone 5
I know many people who use Textfree as their main texting service. I've had the problem with not getting the messages they send. I can send and they go through but I never get theirs. I'm using iOS 6.1.4 if that makes a difference. I have been able to use Textfree on my iPod in the past and my old phones would receive the messages, it's just my iPhone that it hasn't been working on.
Try a different one or keep the app open but that's going to kill your battery.
More than likely it's probably the app that is crashing because i had the same problem, i would either uninstall the app and download it again and if i was still having problems i would just move on to another app. There's a lot of free texting apps so i'm sure you'll find one that works for you.

- Why am I not receiving text messages because of iMessage? When I have my iMessage on, I'm not receiving texts from my iPhone using friends who have their iMessage OFF. But if I turn my iMessage off, then I don't receive texts from my friends that have their iMessage ON. Is there a way to fix this? - Not receiving messages on my s4? I just upgraded for an iphone 4 to an s4 and i only receive messages on my old iphone but the messages i sent on my s4 go through and people get them.
- My iphone 5 is not receiving messages? I found out that when I go to settings then on to messages that iMessage needs to be activated which is strange because I've used it on my iphone which I've had for nearly a year so I put my Apple ID in then it works for a bit then just goes off again. Help me please is it my phone or my provider?
