Not sure if I should buy? Yes or no?
A guy I know at school is offering to sell his iPhone 4, but I think he stole it, so what are the dangers of buying a potentially stolen iPhone?
Nothing
It does not matter.
You try to use it and it gets blocked by the cell phone company, the police come and take it (and you) away.
Knowingly buying stolen property is a crime all by itself.
This phone could be blacklisted, meaning it's owner reported it lost or stolen. You will not be able to use such phone. CDMA iPhone (Sprint or Verizon) can't be activated under a new account unless previous owner removed it from his.
Check it's IMEI (MEID) number before buying (Settings>General>About). Call the carrier customer service and ask them to check phone's ESN for you.
- Trying to buy an iphone 6s 64 GB but i'm not quite sure what carrier i should get? Unlimited everything (min 3GB, preferably 4 GB) less than $100 a month for one person But not sprint recommendations?!
- Should i update my iphone 3gs to ios 6.if yes then how its jailbroken? Its showing no service and have ios 4.2.1 installed in it so i could no longer download apps on it… So should i upgrade it to ios 6 and if yes how to do it… Its jailbroken… And will it reduce the battery life? Its also having a no service issue… Will an update will solve it?
- On iPhones can you block numbers from calling you and if that s yes how? One of my old friends who I hate now is constantly calling me and it's super annoying and I hate her. Can someone tell me how to block her from calling from my iPhone or something?
- Not sure what I should do about my mobile contract? I'm currently with 3 mobile who have awful customer service I can get the same plan for a similar value with 3 and T-Mobile I have heard that T-Mobile have the worst customer service! I can get a 32GB iPhone 5 with 3 or a 16GB iPhone 5 with T-Mobile for the same price. Do I stay with 3 for the better phone or try T-Mobile?
