Old CDMA verizon iphone 4, can I usit?
I have an old i phone 4 that was bought for a verizon contract and doesn, t use SIM cards. Is this phone useless, or could I use it on a contractless prepaid plan?

You could but you would have to find CDMA prepaid phone service like boost or virgin. I heard some people could in costumer service and got it connected into the plans. But you could ask around at Walmart to see If they have any services that do BYOP on CDMA!

You can flash it to page plus or to straight talk. You can't use it on the CDMA based sprint network. You can use it for prepaid unless its on the negative list, that is with Verizon.
