One of my dogs has eaten an adaptor?

My brother ordered an iphone adaptor which was delivered today while me and my family went out for the day. My 9 month old puppy and 1 year old puppy were left indoors and when we got home there was sick on the floor and remains of bubble wrap and envelope. How do we know which dog did it? Do we have to siv through their poo? Why would they eat an electrical item?

I would definitely call your vet and let them know, they will tell you what to do and if they need to see them. It's better to be safe than sorry.

He wanted a buzz.

You definitely need to call your vet. Animals love to eat things we would never consider putting in our mouths. Who knows. I just had a scare with my oldest kitten this week, and thought he swallowed a tack. I don't know why that would have appealed to him. Luckily when I brought him in, it turned out he hadn't (and I found the tack when we got home), but it's always better to consult the vet. They may have you give each dog hydrogen peroxide or ipecac syrup to try to vomit it out, or they may say you need to bring it in.

Dogs like to explore the world they do not have hands to pick stuff up and take it apart. They use there mouths to do it.

Unfortunately the way we live our lives means that we use packaging for food as well. We open packets that rustle crackle etc etc and feed the dog from such packages.

They associate the rustling sounds of packaging with the smell of food and food its self.

Dogs are simple creatures and food is one thing they want. So when some one puts a package through the letter box and it rustles they are protecting there territory. You can bet that the rustling of the package is triggering the association with food so they will try to discover the food source inside.

You should not have to wait to long 48 hours at the most for signs of it to show up in the poo. If not the item the should be signs of bubble wrap as it will not be digested and you will know which dog ate it.

Alternatively take the dogs to your vet and have them x-rayed to see if they can spot the item.

Always check with a vet if your not sure what to do with your pets

  • Why has my iPhone eaten up All my data? I have unlimited data with 27.5 gigs of storage and only around 7 gigs of pics, apps, etc but it says my storage is almost full! And when I delete stuff it just eats the data I freed up! Without me doing anything either it does it on its own. Please give me some sort of idea as to what's going on. Going to the AT&T store is the last thing I want to do.
  • Where will the iphone adaptor fit in my BMW? I have a BMW 116D Sport. Its a 2009 (59) plate. The steering wheel has a load of buttons for a bluetooth mobile phone connection. I was planning on buying an iphone 4/4S SnapIn adaptor so I can use my phone. The only thing is I've seen the adaptors and I can't see where it would fit in my car. In many other BMWs there's a space near the handbrake where an adaptor can fit nicely. Mine doesn't have this. Does anyone know where it would go?

  • Is there an adaptor to use iphone 4 accessories with an iPhone 5c? I have the memorex portable speakers but the problem is it has a wide plug that's compatable with iPhone 4's and iPods. I just switched to an iPhone 5c and I was wondering if they have adapters so I can still use the speakers with my new phone.
