Opinions! What do you pay at AT&T every month?

I was gifted a pink Iphone 5c for AT&T from a friend who got an upgrade. I want to switch but I'm wondering what someone might pay? Their customer service is no help at all and their plans make no sense… Or maybe its just me and a lack of coffee.

I'm not sure of what plan I want but I have Metro now and I would like to change, I've had AT&T before and I loved it. Opinions! Or do you have another carrier you like? I'm open to just about anything!

AT&T's Mobile Share plan boils down to this: $25/month (+ tax) for the phone number with unlimited voice and text usage, and another $20/month for a 300MB data allowance, which you might run through pretty fast. $10 more gets you a more useful 2GB/month, and if you buy a LOT more data you'll get a discount off the phone part. If you have more cellular gadgets you can pay a charge for each and share your data allowance between all of them.

Since your friend gave you the phone. Have her get the phone unlocked. Then you will be able to purchase a SIM card for a prepaid cell phone carrier and use them.

I suggest Net10 or Straight Talk. If you don't need a lot of minutes or have limited money, look into Tracfone. Tracfone, Net10 and Straight Talk purchase airtime from major carriers. Since your phone is a AT&T phone, your phone will use AT&T or T-Mobile towers for service, depending on where you live and which towers are available in your calling area.
