Out of country text charges for iMessage?
I'm in Costa Rica and my boyfriend is in the us. If we text using iMessage because we both have iPhones, will there be a charge for sending or receiving messages?
Ps I have Verizon and he has AT&T
Both of you should download textme. It is a free app in the istore and you can text between 40 different countries for free. It will never be applied towards your text limits either.

- My iphone is sending out text messages instead of imessage? I checked Apple and iMessage is still working. I have iMessage turned on, SMS turned off and my send and receive addresses are correct. But my iMessages are all sending as texts!

Right now, I'm using a shitty texting app to text her but from my knowledge i can iMessage her with Wi-Fi. But I'm out a lot and not always connected to my home Wi-Fi but I do have data, but will iMessaging with my data charge me because of my carrier?
