How many time can I work on a single mp4 video file before the quality degrades?

This is really a two part question so please bear with me since I'm not an expert on these things.

A couple of years ago, a friend of mine downloaded a 10 minute MP4 video from YouTube and gave it to me on a flash drive. I then used Windows Movie Maker (not the best program but its what I have) to brighten the video a little bit and then save the file in HD which is 1080p. I then converted the new HD video using RealPlayer converter so I can play it on my iPod/iPhone. After all was done, I deleted the original video that my friend gave me because since I did "my version" of that video, I didn't think I needed the original anymore

It wasn't until recently that I noticed that, in the middle of the video, were a couple of seconds that repeat three times. Now I want to use this video on Movie Maker to edit out those a couple of seconds, save it in HD, and convert it using Real Player converter. I've read that reusing a video file many times will eventually degrade the quality of the video so:

My first question is: Will "redoing" all this a third time further degrade the video?

and

My second question and this is somewhat unrelated: Will copying a video to a flash drive or copying to another folder degrade the video?

I would greatly appreciate the help.

IPhone photo recovery with no backup after a year?

So about a year ago someone disabled my phone and I had to reset it. My latest backup was December at the time which meant that I lost 5 months of pictures, messages, everything. The reason I'm addressing this issue now is because recently it's been bothering me that months worth of precious photos are gone. I have found many data recovery softwares that claim they can recover deleted data but the problem is this was a year ago and supposedly data would have gotten overwritten and erased forever. I wanted to know how long it takes for data to be overwritten so maybe I could still have some hope. If anyone has any suggestions on how I could get these pictures back, that would be greatly appreciated considering I'm pretty desperate at this point

Why can't I download this app? - 1

I was looking for a trivia/ranking game and found Proust when I googled it. It like gives you different options and you rank from best to least and compare your opinion of the order to other people's.
But when I go to the App Store it says it's not there. Do you know if it was deleted? And if so, are there any other games like it that I can play? It looks really interesting and I'm disappointed that I can't find any other games similar to it.
I have an iPhone 5c btw, if that makes a difference.

Is the iPhone 5/5c still a good device in 2016?

I need a new phone, hoping to switch to iPhone, but I'm on a budget. I see a lot of good deals on refurbished phones from websites like Gazelle. The iPhone 5 or the 5c (I know they're essentially the same phone) are within my price range, but are they simply too old? I don't consider myself a "power user," just texting, social media, and taking photos basically.

Can you still call and text on a outdated iphone?

I'm thinking of getting an iphone4 or 4s and an ipod touch for all my apps since the 4s will be outdated soon but can you call and text with the old phones because i know you can't download most apps but i'm thinking of getting it only for calls and texts

Can I virus screw up your internet connection?

I was on tube 8 and then our Wi-Fi cut off. The whole f'ucking house. The computer. My bros phone. My dads phone. I have an iPhone 6. I'm sure I have a virus. I'm 13. So could my phone be hacked and the Wi-Fi was broken into? IPhone doesn't have any antivirus apps so I can't do anything.

Do you own any Apple Products?

I own an Iphone 4S. Its enough for me for my day to day needs.

And do you like the atmosphere of the apple stores? I think they are very cleverly designed and look sleek.
