Is it weird that I was born in 1996 and I can't relate to being Generation Z?

I was born in 1996 and I can't relate to those born after 1999 because I wasn't as spoiled as those born in the 2000s. I'm aware that there was internet in the mid to late 90s but the internet was not really used as much until say 2000. Like a good example is that a 5 year old today is on an IPhone at age 5 when they should be enjoying their childhood. I guess I call us 1996-1999 babies as hybrids while those born after 1999 are true Gen Z

My iPhone is stuck on recovery mode? - 1

My iPhone is stuck on recovery mode? - 2

Added (1). It just says "Waiting for iPhone" and on the iPhone, it is just the screen with the apple logo and a loading bar that has loaded anything.

I have checked websites and they say that I should hold on to the home and power button for a while but my iPhone's power button does not work.

Please help me, I want to fix this without having to pay someone to do it.

Added (2). I have an iPhone 4s

IPhone 5C Screen Repair Dark Blue

I broke my iPhone 5C screen and waited a month to get a new screen shipped from Hong Kong. Once I got it, I replaced the screen myself. I finished and the screen was dark blue trying to light up. I figured it was a bad screen. So I ended up ordering another screen (this time from the US) and was able to have someone else replace it. The same thing happened. Dark blue screen. I have asked around local repair shops and they can't seem to figure it out. The only thing they suggest is a hard reset. Is there a way to avoid that and fixing it a simpler way?

IPhone 5C won't turn on or off from sleep mode?

While my phone was on, I tapped the power button to turn it on to sleep mode. I soon discovered that I could not get the screen to light up again. I let it rest for a few days, but it was on airplane mode so it didn't die. Plugging it into the charger has done nothing. Thoughts?

IOS 9 beta testing- sketching in notes?

All other beta testers- is this feature only available on iPhone 6 or something? I have an iPod 5 and can't figure it out, it shows on the apple website that there should be a button but there's no button to sketch shown.
there's no low power mode option either.

My wireless devices in the house keep breaking. Why?

I recently moved to a new place and suddenly my wireless devices keep failing on me. First, my a year old macbook just turned off on me and never turned back on. Since I was under warranty, Apple replaced it. Hard drive and motherboard failed. Few days later, same happened with my iPhone. The actual chip failed and iPhone never turned back on. Next, few days later my brand new LG smartphone (my iPhone replacement), same exact issue, the chip failed. All my devices have cases and I take a good care of them.

Additional detail: I got a brand new router. But I don't see how that can be the issue.

Can this be a coincidence? Could there be some kind of waves coming from nearby that cause this? I'm really confused at this point.

What do you give a child who's got everything?

I love buying things for my friends' kids because I can buy them anything (toys, clothes, books, and so on) and there's always the visible excitement on their cute little faces. However, shopping for my nephew's birthday present is a bit of a nightmare. His parents are very wealthy and he has everything he could ever want. He isn't a brat, he's a lovely child who seems to appreciate presents but it always follows with "thank you so much, oh! I have one of these!" --all the time!

When he was 2 we bought him a small peddle car, made out of plastic kid-safe material only to found out that he had a custom made battery-rechargeable luxury "automobile" with comfy seats, large enough to fit in a 10 year old. When he was 3 we bought him a child's animal type of computer, you know those ones that you press the animal shapes and they make the animal sound? We were left embarrassed because we found out that he already had his own iPhone, iPad and Mac laptop with all the educational games already installed in them. On another occasion we decided to play it safe and bought him a book, and guess what? He already had it! It wasn't even a best seller, no, that would be too obvious. We bought a book we found at the very corner of the shelf, that wasn't even popular or anything. Bless his little heart, he said, "thank you aunty I love this book, I have one exactly like this!".

He is 5. I want to buy him something that will light up his face, any idea would be appreciated.
