I was watching something on YouTube and wanted to watch something else so I pressed another video and it was just black with the spinning circle I waited for a very long time, and everything I wanted to watch did the same thing and I thought it was my Wi-Fi, but I can still go on the internet just can't watch any videos, it's the same with Netflix, so I'm just wondering what this is or how I can fix it. Any ideas?

When I first got my iPhone two years ago, I started procrastinating so much that I would not study on my free time and end up freaking out and panicking the night before a test or homework that is due the day after and it's terrible; Now people tell me "just switch off your phone lol" and I think they don't realize that I'm actually addicted to my phone and I need some serious help. So yeah the real question is how do I stop using my phone so much to get myself to stop procrastinating and get my lazy *** to study like a decent human being.

Added (1). Ok so basically, I'm going to buy an iphone 6 for my younger brother as a birthday gift and I don't want to activate it right away.
The screen goes to the white background with the black apple and then switches to a black screen. Then it will go to a blue screen and will loop back to the first screen. I did not get my screen replaced.
I set up my iphone with email for the very first time and linked it with my hotmail account. I wasn't sure what all the settings were for and selected one that said something like 'download all email' . I thought it meant it would download all the old emails i have saved in my inbox.
It actually downloaded every single email i'd ever sent or received since i opened the account way back in 2003. If i deleted the emails, then how could the iphone have restored them? I was able to click on emails 10 years old and read them!
How is not a privacy violation for them to have kept all my deleted emails?! Why are they saving them all?
