My friend put a new pass code on his iphone and can't remember what it was. He doesn't have it backed up to a computer or iCloud and I don't want to delete all of his stuff. Is there any way to get it unlocked?

However, sometimes it says that he was active 4 minutes ago (for example) yet he hasn't seen the message. When he does reply he seems enthusiastic to talk to me, though it is never a flowing conversation as it takes him a couple of days to see the message. I'm worried- is he blanking me? Like many of you I'm sure I'm one of those people that woke up at 3:00 a.m to get one of those new iphone 6 plus. I ordered it of AT&T's website. This is my first time getting a new iphone since the 4s and I got that well into the iphone 4s's life. So I thought rather foolishly that I might be able to get my iphone 6 plus by the 19th when it comes out. Well that's clearly not the case, I shortly afterwards got a mail from AT&T telling me that the phone will actually ship in 21-28 business days…
So based of what happenend with previous years with the 5s and 5, will I actually have to wait 21-28 days or will the phone come to me a bit sooner?

How to turn off an iphone without using the power button?
So basically, my girlfriend bought an iphone 5 & within 4-5 months she broke the power button! So she can't lock her phone or turn it off without letting it auto lock or letting it run out of battery!
I know about the reset trick where you hold the power button & the home button for like 8 seconds & it resets it, but obviously I can't do that!
MAJOR problem. She had to do an update on the phone & she proceeds to download it & it comes up with that white screen with the apple logo underneath & the status % bar of the download! But for some stupid reason the phone has decided to freeze on that screen! So we can't think of any way of turning it off!
It has 98% battery life atm, which is a long time to wait for it to run out of battery as it's clearly not downloading or even consuming any power!
So I was wondering if there's a way to plug it into her mac or computer or anything at all someone could suggest to restart the phone!
