I recently received a Mercury 10M solar charger with USB compatibility that it says to work on Idevices and android. When i placed it in direct sunlight and plug it into my iphone 5s running ios 7, it says accessory may not be compatible. How to fix this? I need help.

I have just got a new job and have been given a brand new iPhone 5 which is a big privilege in my new company. My eldest stepson says I need to call Apple and get it bricked. I'm a bit of a technophobe so my stepson offered to get this done for me. He's not usually helpful and we don't get along too well so I would like to give him a chance to make good on this. But I'm concerned about how much it would cost and whether or not I could get my new employer to pay for it. Any advice welcome.
So I just tried to redownload an app but it said "the item you tried to buy is no longer available". Then I tried to get a new app and same error. An app updated fine though. Anybody know a fix to this? It worked fine earlier today. The iPhone is my only apple device. Is this a widespread problem or just me?
My phone charger won't always work all the time. I tried blowing the charger and I restarted it three times and waited like 30 minutes once. But it still won't work! Oh and when I plug it in it charges but it gains like 1% every 40 minutes! So please help and btw my charger and box thing is in perfectly fine condition. ( Hopefully)
My charger was perfectly fine the other day until just the next day i would plug it in and it would turn to charged. Then go off… Then it only charges if you push it in and i can't do that all night… I'm in middle school and i use my phone a lot there… My phone is on 53% right now and i walk to school, it takes 30 min to get there and back, I've gone through like 8 different chargers with the same problem but my mom won't buy me another… My brother won't let me use his… So i don't know what to do… Is there a way i can possibly take it apart and make it work again?
I want to buy my boyfriend a iPhone 5c for Christmas. He is not on my plan or does not have his own plan. He is still on his families plan. They have AT&T. My boyfriend has never had a smart phone. Christmas is a few months from now but I want to start saving. My main question is " how much is a iPhone 5c if it's eligible for a upgrade"?
Also I imagine him being ready for an upgrade.
I dropped my phone and now the home button doesn't work. I now have the easy access home button thing but it bothers me. How much would it cost to fix the home button and if it could be fixed would they have to reset my phone (like delete pictures and apps) to do so?
