My girlfriend and I were playing the same app and I noticed on her iphone5c that her screen was clearer and brighter. Our brightness was both on 100% too. I have the iphone 5. Is there a resolution difference?

So yesterday at around 7pm my iPhone 4 died, and wouldn't charge. I've tried hard booting it (holding the home button and sleep/wake button at the same time), plugging it in for a few hours, and just plain old trying to turn it on. When it first died yesterday, the little red battery symbol showed up saying to connect it to a power source. Now, today, it doesn't show anything. Just a pure black screen, no matter what I do. I haven't called in to apple or brought it in, because I just simply do not have the money for that.
Is my phone a goner? Or is there anything else I can do? (Can't plug into iTunes as my computer is broken).
Any help welcome! It has All of my information on it so I'm desperate!
I'm only 17, but I just started working and am now getting paychecks. I just need something I can keep track of how much I made and how much I spent and how much I need to pay my few bills for.

I got the game shark evolution on my iPhone and i'm using Game Center on it. And i downloaded the game on my iPad and i signed in with Game Center and it doesn't have my high score from Game Center on the game on my iPad. I have deleted it on my iPad then re downloaded it and it didn't do anything.

I really want the iphone 5s but i'm in the middle of a sprint contract. Is it possible I can trade in my s4 for the iphone 5s? What would happen if I do? How much do I have to pay? I have a regular 2yr contract with them that's ending in August of 2015. I don't want to terminate my contract I just want to switch phones.

I heard iOS 7.0 slows iphone 4 down, then 7.1.1 sped it up but still not as fast as iOS 6 for Iphone 4. Is it worth it to update it for the new features?
