Iphone 3g not connecting to itunes?

I just updated itunes to the newest version. Iphone 3g was able to connect before update but now i can't. When i troubleshoot iphone device it says iphone won't work properly with usb 3.0. But it had worked before. I updated my drivers. Reboted iphone/computer. Updated everything. Still nothing.
Any suggestions to get iphone to sync again?

I follow products like Iphones, Macbooks, Game systems carefully. But I have not watched rumors on Nintendo products. I would like to buy the 3ds Xl, but I also see that it was released a year and a half ago. Are any new systems in the works anytime soon? And rumors?

I'm wondering when I go to activate the phone and service how much would I have to pay upfront? I would need a sim card. Does the sim card come free? Would i pay the bill upfront? Or would I just pay the fee for the sim card and at the end of the month pay the bill?

Okay so i have a one direction iphone 5 case that i've had on for about 2 day and i got a new case that i wanted to put on but i just can't get this case off! I've tried the credit'gift card method and it won't fit. Is there any other was than that method? I really don't have any nails to use so it doesn't really work that way either.

Iphone 5c water damage screen?

My phone was recently submerged in water for about 1 minute (accident). I put it in rice for about 36, took it out and turned it back on and made it work. Every button works, the touchscreen works and it charges. However, it seems that there's visible water damage on the screen. There's a grayish colored strip at the bottom of the screen, and a very bright thin one on the top along with a few spots. Can i do anything to fix it? If so what? Thank you so much!
