How come so many people have IPhones?

I don't get it, at least 2/3 of my school has IPhones. Even when I'm out in public I see the people who are calling and texting using an IPhone. I thought most of the people in the world (I live in the USA), had a financial problem, how can they afford the $200-$400 upfront and $80 monthly for two years?

Sprint iPhone 4s with bad ESN to Straight Talk's BYOP?

Okay, so I have a Sprint 16 GB iPhone 4s. It has a bad ESN and I'm wanting to transfer it to Straight Talk's "Bring Your Own Phone" I chose Straight Talk because I thought that maybe it would be compatible with my phone since ST goes through a Sprint Service Tower. I checked my compatibility of my phone. It said compatible. But when i look on the back of the BYOP package it only comes with AT&T or T-Mobile sim cards. It also includes an access code for phones that don't use sim cards. I would very much appreciate all answers.

Also, I don't know all of that electronic slang EX: GSM, CDMA, etc. Thats all confusing so keep that in mind when responding.

Thanks, Have a Great Day!

Added (1). Will I be able to put the phone on with Straight Talk if I unlock the phone and/or jailbreak it?

Is it possible to recover an accidentally deleted 'Note' file on an iPhone?

So I've had a note file on my iPhone 4 for several years now, everytime I hear a song I like I write it in the note and every once and a while I sit down and take some time to lighten the list by downloading some of the songs I've written down. Now today I was doing that and as I was deleting some of the songs off the list that I wrote previously and I accidentally deleted the entire note with around 250 great songs I still needed to download at some point… So my question geniuses, how if at all possible do I recover a deleted note?!

Note: I have also never backed up the phone on iTunes, only synced for songs & photos…

Email maintenance for over 24 hours?

I can't get in my account either; not on my laptop, not on my tablet, and not on my iPhone. However, my wife can get in her account just fine.

Do I just need to switch to gmail after all these years and never look back?
