My mum is getting a new ipod dock for her birthday and it's one of the new ones so it has the lightning pin in it, but she has an iPhone 4 so she needs a converter.
I know you can buy an adapter to go from iPhone 4 > iPhone 5, but does anything exist that converts back from new to old? I've looked everywhere and I don't think they exist.

I've never gotten a plan before and I used to use a lousy slide-phone. I used to pay in air time.
I've decided that recently, I would be better off on upgrading my phone. However, I only use my phone like a few times a week. Yes that's well under the average for somebody around 13-25. And honestly, I never text.
Now the reason I want to get an iPhone (for those who are curious) is:
- data surfing on the internet
- Facebook (I use it a lot at home)
- Camera purposes
- email
- games a lot
So yeah what would be the best plan for me to use?
I have an iPhone 4. It doesn't have a carrier so I can't use it as an actual phone and so I have no data. I have just been using free Wi-Fi that I can pick up. I own a business and I live in the same building I work so I've always been able to connect to the Wi-Fi I use for the business, which isn't password protected. Now, suddenly, I can't get it to connect. It had been connecting briefly for literally like a couple of seconds, now it won't even do that much. I have turned the phone, and the Wi-Fi, off then on, reset the network connections and all that and I can't get it to connect. It used to come up with 2 Wi-Fi's- one labeled NETGEAR and the other NETGEAR EXT. One, possibly both, were coming from our router but now only the NETGEAR is coming up and sometimes that won't come up as an option either. There's one other network that comes up now but it must be my neighbors and it's locked. Any suggestions to fix this?
In the past I have always done things this way and never had a problem. I don't use iCloud backup because I have a teenagers iPod on my iCloud account and she doesn't need to see all my pictures. Therefore I don't have iCloud or Photo Stream on my iPhone. I always have just downloaded my pics manually and then backed them up on my hard drive. I have contacted both Apple and Windows 8 support. Apple is telling me it is Windows' problem and Windows is telling me it's Apple's problem. So this is kind of a last resort.
This is what I did.
Step 1: Attached iPhone 4s (with iOS 7, completely updated) to computer using USB attachment.
Step 2: Stop sync with iTunes.
Step 3: Open my iPhone manually from Windows Explorer.
Step 4: Open DCIM folder to get to photos and videos.
Step 5: Manually cut and paste all photos on iPhone to newly created folder on desktop.
Step 6: Since I still want to be able to have some of my pics and vids on my iPhone, I attempt to transfer a few back to the folder they just came out of. I'm unable to do so.
Step 7: I hit Ctrl+Z to undo the transfer. The folder and files disappeared. I can't find them on my iPhone or my computer. I tried to hit redo… I tried to recopy them from the clipboard, and they aren't in the recycle bin. WTF happened? Where did they go?
These pics are from the first month and a half of my son's life and they are now gone. I'm desperate and I will try almost anything to get them back.
I recently purchased an iPhone 4, and I have had problems resetting it. Unfortunately it will not let me reset the phone because it asks for the password of the Apple ID it is currently using. I would like to find a way of resetting or getting rid of the Apple ID it has.
Added (1). Miguel: Whenever I try that it will ask for the password of the profile and it won't let me through because I don't have it. :/
I've got the Emoji app on both my iPhone and iPad, but on my iPad it has the little red bubble on the top corner saying I have one notification. I go into the app to try and find what it is that's causing it to have the little red bubble. I can't figure it out and it's driving me nuts because I want the red bubble to go away. I already tried deleting the app and re-downloading it, but that didn't work it still has the red notification bubble on the corner. It doesn't show up on my iPhone, though. Just my iPad. Is this happening to anyone else? How can I get rid of the red bubble, it's seriously driving me up the wall that I can't figure out how to get rid of it.
My mom has been jobless for many years and my dad is stuck at a dead end job and they still manage to buy me expensive smartphones, expensive brand clothes, etc. I even have 2 computers. And i'm not spoiled because i will get a good job in the future and pay them back, but if i can afford it, then most people can afford it.
Soy iPhone 5 will not say when it's charged. As of right now it is "stuck" at 9% it hasn't moved from 9% in like 2 hours and I let my phone charge overnight and still says 9%. My phone is obviously more charged than that but the icon itself is broken and won't tell me when my phones almost dead because it stays at the same %. Any ideas?
All the accessory are being made just for Apple devices. Like there isn't other device out in the market. I recently brought a Samsung galaxy note 3. I can't find any protection accessory or in the made any accessory for the galaxy tablet. It has being even more possible to find one for the tablet. No doubt American is obsessed with the Iphone when the shelves are full of iPhone accessories. Any accessory company out there please get out of the obsession of the iPhone and start think on building accessory for other phones. There plenty of more phone company out here to build for. Hating all the Apple accessories right now.
