Why won't my iPhone sync? (2nd try)?

Okay so I got a new iPhone yesterday and I connected it to my iTunes, I used to have an iPod so I put all of my back up stuff (my photos) onto my new iPhone.
but now when I connect my iPhone it's says "iPod" I was just assuming it replaced my iPods old name I'm not sure? But when I try and sync my music and apps it starts to sync and then just stops and nothing happens? Can anyone help me because it's really bugging me! I've tried searching this problem up but I just can't seem to do it:/ Thank you!

Why do the layouts keep changing?

So I was just on here (in using my iPhone) and the layout was white and purple and I accidentally closed the tab. So I pull it up again, login, and now it's back to the normal green and white layout/color scheme. What's the deal?

Why do people hate iPhones so much?

Well, Apple in general.
'Hate' is a strong word. It's okay to dislike something. Obviously not everybody is gonna like the same thing. But, why do people hate Apple with passion? Their products aren't bad. The reason why I love Apple is because of it's simplicity and ease of use. And that's what matters to me. Now I know, that PCs and Androids are cheaper, and a lot more customizable, but to be honest, I don't need that. I saved up for a Macbook Pro and I have to say, it's pricey but so much worth it. I know most people that hate on Apple products have actually never tried one before.
Is it because of jealousy? Do they hate just to cover up their jealousy?
I'm well contented with all my Apple products offers. I love iPhone, iPad, and MBP. I don't get why people hate them…

Why does everyone ask if I'm rich?

Everyday at school someone comments on what I own and says that I'm rich, it makes no sense to me. The list of some of the things I own are

The pro versions of those headphones

An iPhone 4S (lol don't worry, upgrading soon)

iPod touch 4g (barely use it)

An xbox 360 slim

A wii (almost never turned on anymore)

A nice 5.1 channel surround sound system

A 21.5 inch iMac (2012 edition I think)

An HP G72 Notebook computer

Now for clothes:

Shoes: Nike, Air Jordan, Adidas, Reebok, Prada, and Gucci (dress shoes)

Shirts: American Eagle, Gucci, Hollister, Aeropostale, some Louis Vuitton, Burberry

Pants: American Eagle, Hollister, Aeropostale, some gucci, a few pairs from True Religion

So is that really concidered to be spoiled?

How to jailbrake or unlock iPhone 4s 6.1.3 without sim card?

I recently bought an iphone 4s locked to bell off of craigslist. I'm with rogers, so obviously i knew i would need to unlock my device. I've tried everything; downloaded redsn0w and all the ipsw things etc. Redsn0w didn't work, came back as unsupported ipsw, kept saying it was meant for iphone 3, 3Gs, and 4. Even though the link was for a 4s. Anyways, i just need some help understanding a quick and easy way i can unlock my phone. Yes i'm willing to pay as long as it is reasonable. Any info helps.
