I'm pretty sure it's an iPhone 3GS; my mother's boyfriend gave it to me after he got a new phone. Of course, the service was cut off, but it still works on Wi-Fi. My mom's phone is the same model, and the service is cut. She still receives updates and stuff. Before the phone was given to me, Joseph reset it back to factory default. Now, every time I go to download an app, it says I need iOS 4.3 or iOS 5.0. Or some other iOS. How can I get it to upgrade?

For the past few days I've had a little tiny circle in the top left hand corner of my IPhone 5 instead of the 3G. My phones been slow, doesn't connect to the internet and doesn't refresh. It's really bothering me. I've turned the IPhone off & on & that didn't help. I've tried connecting to Wi-Fi, going into my settings to fix it but nothing seems to work.

Hello everyone so I just got my iPhone and I told my girlfriend if she can put music on my phone but she said no like always! Anyways so I bought this app called free music it was the music note n it's purple. It's the best okay but now that am not using Wi-Fi would I get charged just to listen music thou?! I won't download just music n my company is Verizon please help lol
Since hotmail became live.com/outlook.com does this mean that i can no longer use it and switch it over or does that mean it already switched. That was my email for my iphone
I got a new computer and downloaded iTunes. Of course now I need to transfer all my iTunes content (that is on my iPhone) on to iTunes on the new computer. I tried syncios and iExplorer and they both save the music to a file in the computer hard drive. Supposedly these programs can transfer the contents of your iPhone into iTunes but I don't understand how if it is now saved in a file. Is there a way to import music from this file into iTunes? Everyone has been telling me to use this software but i don't know how.

Added (1). Clarification--- when you all say drag/copy the files into itunes, does that mean the itunes itself (like when the program is open) or the itunes file in the programs menu?
I was on my iPhone the other night and it was on 5% remaining battery, so I just pressed the lock key and set it down. Next morning I try to charge it and a red bar shows on the screen with a lightning bolt so I just left it sit for a couple of hours but nothing happens. I have tried every possible solution to fixing this like hard resetting, rebooting etc. NOTHING works. My computer doesn't even recognize the device. Is restoring my iPhone really the last resort? I don't wanna restore because then I will lose all of my data on my phone and I have ALOT of important stuff on it.
