So my brother jail broke his iphone 5, and offered to do the same to mine, i'm a little skeptical because i heard it makes the phone slower, anyone who knows about that stuff please help, because it also comes with a lot of benifits!
I was looking to dump my HTIB for a custom theater set up advised by many audiophile disciples. I wanted to know are there any blu ray receivers with blue tooth. I'd prefer Denon, yamaha, Onkyo, pioneer, polk, etc. I was currently looking at these:

Alright so I have an iPhone 4S which I unlocked because I can use the sim for texting and phone calls but I can't use MMS/Data. Also before you go into the whole sim switch and att.mvno. I can already access the APN settings so I have no need for the sim swap. Also, I've tried SEVERAL of the methods including att.mvno and it didn't work. So first question, is there anyone besides me who can't get any method to work. Two, how did you get you're MMS/DATA to work?
It still works. But the sides/metal part encasing it has a few dents around it. I'm very self conscious about the way people look at me when I use it so can someone please point me in the right direction about where I can get it fixed As soon as possible. Preferably in Melbourne, but I have no problem with travelling interstate to get it done properly.
I got an iPhone 5 in December and I have not been able to sync my music onto it from my computer. First of all, I have all my music on iTunes on a PC, even though I own a Mac. I have since gotten some music on iTunes on my Mac but every time I plug my iPhone into my Mac, iTunes says it is unable to sync because I need to get the newer version. So when I go to download the newer version, it works, but then when I go to install the new version of iTunes, it says it can't be installed because the "software requires Mac OS X version 10.6.8 or later" which I have no idea how to do. I don't know if it means my Mac is too old, which it shouldn't be, because I bought it less than two years ago. Can someone help me out? All I want to do is sync my music onto my iPhone! But it seems like I have to go through a bunch of steps before that can happen.
Recently my iphone 4 has been playing random music. It just stops what i'm doing and a song which I DO NOT OWN starts playing. When i go to my library it shows nothing is playing however when i go to my lock screen it shows me the song playing which i do not own.
has this happened to anyone else? Is this like a "virus" or something?
I have an iPhone 4. And yesterday, my sister was checking all my personal stuff and I was annoyed so I decided to set a password. I just typed really fast and I forgot to look at my phone. It was up supposed to be 1845 but I think I typed too fast, twice. And when I tried to open it, it said wrong password. I tried again and again and now it says, "iPhone is disabled connect to iTunes" my phone is jailbroken and I have lots of important contacts, photos, apps, and stuff like that. And I don't know what to do. And do we need to download a backup for it? Or is there any other way? My friend told me to take the SIM card out to restore it. But I don't think it will work. Help?
Added (1). It's ios4.1. I don't have my own apple ID and my laptop had to be repaired the other day and I can't resume all my apps.
Added (2). *resync. Will my jailbroken apps disappear? I also downloaded a few apps with my dads account. I'm stupid
Like 3-4 years ago I went through this thing where I refused to delete any emails, including unread ones. Now on my iphone I have an annoying notification that says I have 1, 492 unread messages.
Is there any way for me to delete like really old messages while keeping my emails that are still relatively new?
If I charge my iPhone with my laptop will my laptop battery drain faster?
I dropped my Iphone 4 in a swimming pool. Its probably not going to work again, but its in rice anyways. I think my sim card is okay though, but i'm not sure how to tell, how do I tell?
and even though my Iphone won't turn on, if my sim card still works, will all my contacts and pictures be on there? And is there a way to get my notes, pictures, and contacts off of my phone even though its broken now?
