My Iphone 4s will not turn on? - 1

My Iphone for about a week would say that I have 1% left when really I would have 100% and last week it had shut off and now it won't turn back on. I got a new phone today but it says to save my contacts from my old phone I need to sync it to Itunes but since my phone won't turn on nothing pops up when I plug it in to the computer. Could someone help me try to save my contacts and photos please? Thank you!

Added (1). No I did not accidentally shut off my phone and no hitting the home or sleep button does not turn it on. My battery is completely dead and won't charge my phone is broken. I just need help figuring out how to sync it to itunes without turning it on thanks

Should I go to Apple for a replacement?

I bought my iPhone 4S in 2011 and never had a problem with it. In February of this year it got lost and I had to order a replacement through a third party insurance company (which I pay a monthly fee for, but they charge deductibles). The replacement turned out to be in not-so-great condition, and here I'm a few months later with a phone that turned off by itself and refuses to turn back on. It was very warm for a couple hours after turning off, and no amount of resetting or plugging in would get the apple logo to show up at all.

My question is-should I go to the Apple store with my problem? I've heard that they often replace people's broken phones for free, even if their official policy doesn't imply that they will. A friend of mine got a free replacement from Apple even though her phone had obvious water damage. I've heard similar stories but I don't know if their phones were newer than mine or anything like that. Is it true that there's a chance they'll replace it? If not, what would the fee be? Should I just go through Verizon and pay my deductible?

Why can't we change the iPhone to another one?

So I dropped my phone & the front screen broke. I'm with Verizon so we went to a Verizon store to try to just use an upgrade and get a new phone but it was really complicated and wanted to change our plan all around and I don't want that because we have about 5 phones on the plan. And 2 phones have unlimited data but if I use an upgrade, they'll cut off the unlimited Internet on those phones and I don't want that. I called apple and they said it'll be 149 to replace the screen. The guy I talked to also said if I went anywhere else to replace the screen, if for some reason I had an issue where I had to go back to apple for my phone, they can tell if it's a different glass and that'll void the warranty. But i don't know what that warranty is? I don't even think I have a warranty. I bought the phone from a Verizon store. So what can I do?

So I was going around and saving images on my iPhone, looking for a cool wallpaper, and realized after, that I had 0 bytes available before saving the images. I'm kind of worried as of how my iPhone found more space to save these images because when I deleted all of the pictures I had just saved, I had more space than I had started with. Does anyone know what my iPhone may have deleted or how it found more space than it even had.

I downloaded iOS 7 beta thinking it would be good but I was sadly mistaken. This beta version has so many bugs that it's pretty much turned me off from iOS 7. I currently have iOS 7 beta version 2 and I downloaded iOS 6.1.3 iPhone 4 CDMA. After I control-clicked. A message popped up saying that the firmware was not compatible. I was 12 an I was caught shoplifting along with a friend of mine. But I wasn't the one shoplifting, she was stealing an iPhone Case worth $15 and I had to get involved with what she did. We got taken to the station in the mall and they took our names and pictures. We were banned from the mall for 3 months unless we were with a parent but we had to be with them 24/7. Will that be on my records? I don't want that to affect my college application or job opportunities.
