How to swap my SIM to use my iPhone abroad?

I'm a Canadian student with an iPhone 4 on Rogers, and I'm moving abroad to study for the next two years in Scotland. I just have what I'm pretty sure is a very simple question --

If I want to use the same phone as I have now, and just replace the SIM with one that I buy in the UK, do I have to unlock/jailbreak my phone, or do I just have to remove my current SIM and cancel my Rogers plan? (I'll be cancelling the Rogers plan pretty soon, anyway.)

I know there are ways to "hand down" your iPhone, but I've only seen how this is done with AT&T or Verizon. It seems pretty easy, but I don't want to risk jailbreaking my phone if I don't have to. (I know it's pretty easy.)

Anyway, like I said, simple question! Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Added (1). Sorry -- I should clarify that I've already looked at SIM-only plans for UK carriers, and was hoping to just switch out the SIMs.

I can't unlock my iphone on ios 7?

IPhone 4.photos say they are full

I have very little in my phone app wise. But I do have 322 songs.
My photos keep saying they are full. Do photos stay in the photo stream even I delete them off my camera? I plan on deleting most of my music. I got this photo so I could take a ton of photos. Seems like some of my friends have 1500+ photos on theirs I have 100

Can't delete purchased songs off iPhone 5 in Songs view of my music?

I can't delete purchased songs off of my iPhone 5 (which I just switched to) in the "Songs" view of my music. I can look in the "Playlists" view and it will not show them, only in "Songs" view. Looking at the image you can see what I mean. I've purchased a few albums and will use The Cadillac Black's album as the example. Once I purchase music I take it out of iTunes and put it onto my computer after converting it to an MP3. You can see I change the naming format to "Artist Name - Song Name" that way in the "Songs" view it's so much easier to keep all of an artist's music together. On the right you can see that I have all of The Cadillac Black's music named how I want and on my phone. On the left you can see the song "Back It Up" by The Cadillac Black as it's own entity even though it's already in my music with the rest of The Cadillac Black's music. It shows the icon looking like it can be backed up to the cloud, which I do not do. It does this with all of the purchased songs. I don't want two copies of a song on my phone. Yes, I have side swiped the song and the delete option comes up, but it will not delete. Maybe this is all because I'm using iOS 7 beta because I never noticed this on my iPhone 4S running the current iOS 6. Can someone please shed some light on this? Thank you in helping me clear up my music on my phone!

How to change voicemail greeting on iPhone 5

So I had a sleep over with a bunch of my friends and they were goofing around with my phone while I was sleeping. They put a really inappropriate message as my voicemail greeting and my parents have heard it and I got in trouble. I tried changing it back to the default greeting, but it won't go. I really need help because I'm afraid someone like my grandma will call and hear it and tell my parents it's still there. I have an iPhone 5, not jail broken or anything.

IPhone 3GS Screen Replacement?

I slammed the hatch door of my SUV on an old iPhone 3GS. The screen does not look to be cracked, but it has a huge area of dead pixels. What part(s) do I need to replace? Any idea where I can get them (Amazon?) and if you would please include some sort of installation guide that would be great.
