How much money should be on a gift card?

My best friend's birthday is this Saturday. I wanted to get her a Forever 21 gift card, but I don't know how much to get her. She's 13, and we've been acquaintances in the 7th grade, but we turned into best friends this year, so we've known each other for about two years. Should I get her 15 dollars or 20? I was planning on getting her a gift card, iPhone case, 3D origami bear, a jar of lucky stars (last two homemade), her locker decorated, a birthday letter and card (online as well), and Swedish Fish and gum. If I got a 15 dollar gift card I would be able to spend 15 on the candy and wrapping paper, but if I got her 20, I would have to work with 10.
Either amount works for me, but I'm just wondering what amount is appropriate? I can't exactly give her approximately the same amount of things according to my birthday, because mine is one month after.

I found an iPod 3G with 32gb and had it for around 1-2 years already. Screen was cracked so I fixed it and the audio also didn't work, which I also fixed. I got the iPhone 5 so I don't know how much money I can make by selling the iPod.

Why isn't my iPhone 5 charging?

My iPhone 5 had died when I was at my boyfriend's house, I got home late and put it on my charger. I was waiting for it to come on to the passcode so I could talk to my boyfriend before I went to bed and tell him goodnight, but I fell asleep while waiting. Then I wake up and wanted to text him goodmorning and it was still dead. I tried everything to get it to work. I tried plugging it in another outlet in my room and it didn't work, I tried to plug it in two different rooms and it still wouldn't charge. I even tried to plug it in the car charger. Now I have it plugged in the laptop and it's still doing nothing. Why won't it charge?
