I have an old iphone 3gs with 4.2.1 firmware, I can't get any recent apps so I want to install 6.1.2 firmware on it but on itunes it says that 4.2.1 is the latest firmware. So I did a google search and download 3gs 6.1.2 firmware but how do I put it on my iphone 3gs?
I cleaned it with windex, a damp cloth, pretty much everything I can think of, and most of the spots are gone, but the touch screen won't work!
Overtime, do you think it will work if I let it sit for a while?
I'm a 13 year old developer making an app. If you could make one what would it do. By the way… It has to be something possible… Not like an app that makes you fly. Haha.
Earlier this week, I updated my iPhone 5 to the newest iOS, 6.1.2. Ever since then, I don't get service almost anywhere. Before updating, I could get service fine anywhere I went in town or on my college campus. After upgrading the iOS, I can only get service in certain areas and it's really frustrating. I'm 100% positive it's the new iOS. I've tried resetting the network settings, turning on and off my phone, and hard rebooting it, but nothing works. I haven't tried a full restore yet because frankly, I'm too lazy to have everything erased and resynced back on, but I'm pretty sure restoring it won't solve the problem. Is this bug part of iOS 6.1.2? Am I the only one who has this problem? How do I fix it?
I just got the iPhone 5 with Verizon on friday with a 2GB data allowance per month plan. If I send and receive picture messages, do they count towards my 2GB or are texts and picture messages counted separately from my data pool?
For some reason my iPhone will vibrate, but I don't get texts. Then I had a friend text me that said they had been texting me, but I wasn't getting any texts. Why am I not getting texts and what's up with the vibrations? I'm on iOS 6.1.2 by the way
I have just performed a firmware upgrade to my iPhone 4. The upgrade was successful, but when I tried to start the phone I got this message: "Only compatible SIM cards from a supported carrier may be used to activate iPhone" It doesn't wanna go further, I have my SIM card from a Moroccan carrier, but it doesn't work now. It worked before properly. Does this mean that I have to buy a new phone? Any suggestions please?

I picked my iPhone 4 up to reply to a text message, and when I tried to open that message my phone froze and wouldn't open my message, phone, Bing or Google apps. I had to turn the phone off in order for the apps to open, and when they did all of my contacts were gone. What could cause this?
