Just now I call my boyfriend to see if he was awake. I called him three time, and on the third try someone picked up. It was a voice I didn't recognize. It was a man with a southern accent, which wouldn't make sense since I live in New England. He said some along the lines of "Don't worry I talked to your dad, your family is okay." He kept laughing off and on and then he said something like "you're probably wondering where the key is to find the body." Then he hung up. It was like he was talking to someone who wasn't answering, that I could hear at least.
I know I didn't dial the wrong number since its programmed into my phone. My boyfriend called me 2 minutes later, he just woke up. He asked his family if they heard him talking in his sleep and he wasn't. This also isn't his kind of humor, nor is it the rest of the family's.
This has happened to me once before, years ago. Before iPhones were even talked about. I went to call my cousin and instead of actually answering, I was thrown into a conversation she was already having with one of her friends, but I couldn't talk.
Has this happened to anyone? Does anyone know what this could be? Both our service providers is AT&T if that means anything
Added (1). No this isn't spam. I don't really see how this could be but then again I'm very uneducated when it comes to the internet. I'm legitimately freaked out. My mom said it might have to do with hurricane Sandy coming our way.
