My mam took out her iphone 4 under contract with t-mobile and her screen was smashed?

She does not have insurance and the phone is under a year old, she took the contact out in january 2012.
does anyone know if the apple store will fix the screen? Or if i can get it fixed any way with having pay loads of money?

My iphone won't vibrate even though vibrate is turned on?

I have an iPhone 3gs and it worked fine until I updated it (ios 6).
My phone, when on silent mode, won't vibrate when I get a message.
In settings, everything is turned on, the vibrate part is selected.
When the button (above the volume) is not on silent and then is flicked down to silent (vibrate) mode, it vibrates. However, it does not vibrate when I receive a message?

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!
