PHONE EXPERTS-Iphone5 dropped in toilet

So my sister had the iphone5 and she put it in her back pocket and went to the bathroom and it slipped in the toilet… She got it out right away and then gave it to my dad, he pressed the buttons and it just shut down, the apple faded away… So he took it apart and blow dried the parts inside and then we put it in rice, cuz we heard it helps. Now when we press the home button and lock screen together to turn it on, it just turns on to show a black screen that has a picture of a charger connecting to iTunes (it's the screen you see when you first get your iPod or and apple device) so we connected it to iTunes and it said we have to restore the iPhone, so we clicked restore but on the last process of restoring, it says it can't be restored… Why? Is there any way to fix it?

You should haveinstantly put I in a bag of rice to dry out the parts inside. You could still do that and see if that makes a difference. If it doesn't change the battery right away if you change the battery out it should work fine. Hope that helps good luck.

Your dad shouldn't have pressed the home button or anything. When your phone falls in water, never force it to switch on. You should put it instantly in a bowl of rice or under a lamp. The only thing you can do now is put it in a bowl of rice again or under a lamp for a day or two, and hope it works.

Some ppl can't can't take a --- without their phones. Keep them away from WATER or ANY liquids
