Phone for 14 year old daughter?

Okay so my daughter will be turning 14 in a couple months. She has a $20 Vodafone (she got it when she was 12) she takes care of it and hasn't broken it. She's wants an iPhone for her birthday, she's on the honor roll, takes care of her things and is a good kid overall. I don't know what iPhone to get her. We don't have a budget as long as it isn't crazy expensive (like the iPhone X.) She listens to music so I think she would find the iPhone 7 and onwards a nuisance. I also don't know what storage to get her.

Added (1). She's not spoilt. The only other device she has is a cheap-ish laptop for school.

Have a look at Iphone 6

Get her a 75$ walmart samsung pay as you go smartphone with a cheap 32gig sd card and it wll do everything…

IPhone 6s is the best iPhone so far, the other iPhones basically offer no extra important features apart from improves resolution and picture quality. I would say get the iPhone 6s.

Though iPhones are "cooler" to kids, an Android would be cheaper. But if it must be an Apple device I would suggest getting an older model such as an iphone 4/s. You can get those for under $100. I would suggest using ebay in any case. I personally go 2 generations old. I currently have a Galaxy s5 that I got for $150 a year ago that was $600 just 2 years prior. I'm in it so it isn't like I'm behind the times, I just know how to win at getting tech. So get an older iPhone and do your best and making sure the software is never updated. Apple is notorious for updating their phones to a point of unusability, just so you have to get another. Lastly, in case you're nervous about buying a used phone online. Ebay is setup to protect they buyer. If the phone isn't as described, they will always back you. I have gotten phones that didn't work out and had 0 issues getting a refund.

No

Yes, it has benefits. You can track her location with the gps.

Pre paid Walmart phones last awhile. When I was 14 I had one until I was 16
