Phones similiar to the iphone?
What i want a phone to have:
- has your text messages in a conversation line
- touch
- $100-$150 on eBay or Amazon
- smart phone if possible
- can find Wi-Fi for free if possible
I have a t-mobile comet that is quite small, touch, android, with text messages in a conversation thread, and it is not expensive. However the keyboard is very small, and you really need to learn swipe in order to do any extensive texting or emailing. It is easy to turn the wi-fi on and off, and it is possible to do email and browsing from Mickey Ds or Starbucks with pay as you go without a data plan. It has a Froyo version of android and may not be capable of upgrading to a newer version because of the slow CPU speed and small screen.
- Why is the iphone so much better than other smart phones? I'm not trying to start a fight here. It just seems like Apple has access to alien technology or something. I've been trying to help my dad with his Samsung stratosphere and the difference is staggering. Another thing worth noting is that any of my friends who have non iphone smart phones also carry their ipod touches around with them. That says something.
- Why can't I send picture messages with my iPhone to other phones? I can only send picture messages to other people with iPhones but not to anyone that has any other type of phone. I have the 4S and I have my MMS/SMS switch on. What's the problem?
- What other phones will a large iPhone 3GS sim card fit in? I have a broken iPhone 3GS, the sim card is abnormally large and I can't find an AT&T phone that it will fit, help?
- What makes the iphone 4s unique compared to other phones? What's something unique to it other than siri? Compared to phones such as the samsung galaxy or htc one s?
