Playing iPhone through car stereo?
My car stereo does not have an aux port but it has a usb slot.
If I used a usb to aux wire will my iPhone play through the stereo?
Not knowing anything about your "Stereo" we have no idea except to say for the cost of a lead it is worth a try
USB won't play in this case. What you can do is go to the mechanic and he will attach an extra aux cable. WIll cost around 200 and you are good to go then any phone.
Without knowing what kind of stereo you have, no one can tell you for sure. But I can tell you that about 90% of USB car stereos work with apple products like your iphone or iPods.
I drive rental cars three or four times a year for my job, and I have yet to find a car stereo with USB that didn't work with my iphone.
Just use your charging cable(usb charging cable) to play music. I do it with my radio and don't have an iphone.
