Private browing - what does it mean web browser?

What does private browing mean and how it works

i usually come across this in some web browsers and also in my iphone safari settings -

how is the privacy ensured with private browsing

Private Browsing is best for viewing websites without saving substance like cookies, temp files and a history of the pages you visit.

No cookies or history. Some put a do not track marker in thats all. Your still just as vulnerable to hackers etc. They just like giving it a fancy name. Under the sale of goods act that would constitute "goods not as described" but its not goods.

With private browsing mode running, you can search and save information, and no one will be able to obtain it except you. Most browsers offer a private mode if you wish to use it. You tube can be viewed in private and what videos that you wish to save will not be made public. Cordially, Mr. Alan Avellar

Private browsing modules are good if you want to browse sites without leaving any trace on your computer.

This is good because of several reasons:

a.) It does not leave any trace of your browsing on your own computer.
b.) Extremely good if you share computer with someone or browsing in public places.

However, ISP can always see where you go.

  • What is the best free private web browser for the iPhone 4S? I need an app that is a web browser, like safari or chrome but is hidden away as another app like a calculator that's free. Do you know any apps like that? Apps that look like a calculator or any other thing when on the home screen but when you access it it still looks likes regular app until you put a secret password. And it has to be free. I found one that's paid: it's called Bcalculator. I need one that does exactly what that app does but it has to be free.
