Why do they hav web browser apps for iphone and not console?
They don't they have webbrowsers such as firefox or chrome for ps4/xbox one. Yet iphones and androids have built in web browsers along side apps such as firefox and chrome.
There ARE web-browsers for PS4 and XBox One; although as they're essentially closed systems (unless you're prepared to jailbreak them) they use the propriety browsers provided by the manufacturers rather than third-party tools.
The Xbox One uses Microsoft Edge.
Don't know for sure but Nintendo (nowadays) but in the past consoles have used Opera.
Sony uses their own custom browser for the PlayStation.
