Problem receiving text messages?

I used to have an iphone and recently got a galaxy s5. When people who have Iphones text me it send as an imessage and I do not review it.

How do I fix this

You have to log out of iCloud and iMessage on the old phone. Your phone number is still tagged on Apple's server as an iPhone. Remove or log out of your account and this will correct it. Best luck.

You have to call apple and have them unregister your number from imessages. If you still have the iphone, turn imessages off. Apple has a short code you can text with the word Help which could take more than 24 hrs to take effect. The best way to resolve the issue is to call apple and tell them you no longer use iphone and imessages is interfering with your messaging, The Apple rep can and should handle this for you right away. However if they try to tell you that you need to do something like, log into your apple ID on a applesupport website, tell them you can't do it right now and really would just like them to do it for you, Providing them with the IMEI number of your old phone will make certain that they can do it for you. Sometimes they get lazy or they may not know how to do it. But they can, I work for a carrier and have been dealing with this issue for a while. I have talked to Apple reps who say they can't do it and I have talked to Apple reps that do it right away no problem. Some Apple reps don't even need for me to provide the IMEI # and they look it just by name and number. So don't let them tell you that they can't do it because they can.
