Problem with iPhone Carrier/Phone Searching?
A few days ago my phone was working fine the next morning my phone signal said searching… In the top left corner I have no service what so ever I didn't mess with the SIM card. I didn't touch any settings I've contacted Apple and my carrier! I have an Apple IPhone 5c. My bill is paid I don't know the problem I've had this phone over a year now! It's factory unlocked. Is it a possibility my phone factory anyway? I need answers please.
The only thing I can recommend that you do is turn your phone off and back on and see if it resets.
The problem you have with your phone is exactly why I use a prepaid cell phone and keep a few new cell phones on hand. When my current phone starts to act up, I just get out a new phone and activate a new phone.
Happens very randomly. Try ejecting the sim and putting it back in.
Try turning on air plane mode for 15 seconds and turn it off for it to try searching again.
Try restarting the phone. Try hard reseting it, pressing the lock and home button at the same time for 10 seconds and releasing the home button for it to restart. If this fails try restoring it.
If restoring it fails, try with another SIM card and if all this fails I'm afraid your phone is faulty and if you have warranty you'd need to apply it to get a replacement or see how much they want for fixing it.
- Sprint Iphone 4 goes from 5 bars to No service and Searching? I called sprint and they tried everything on their end and told me to reset the network settings, even resetting the entire phone, and nothing helped. I read somewhere that the antenna is touchy on these phones and wearing a case may help? I would like to hear any fixes and if anyone else has had these issues. It worked completely fine the first day I had it and then it just started losing service for no reason.

- Searching.after IOS 6 iPhone Update - Lost Signal completely? Have just updated my iPhone 4S to IOS 6, and now have lost my network completely. Instead of Orange i now have "Searching… ". I have gone to settings > general > reset > reset network settings and also "reset all settings", still nothing… Anyone else experienced this?
- My Iphone 3gs says no service/searching. What can I do? I have a 3gs that has been unlocked. The TMobile sim card is in, but it says searching/no service. The carrier does say TMobile. I went through troubleshooting with TMobile and nothing. IOS is 6.0.1 and baseband is 05.16.08.
