Problems accessing mobile internet while roaming?
I have an Iphone 4 and subscribe to Aircel 3G plan. I'm from Chennai.
I was in Bangalore this month. If my roaming carrier is selected to any other carrier other than Aircel, my phone was not connecting to Internet. I was able to make / receive calls, send SMS even when I was connected through other carriers. Where there were poor Aircel signals, if the phone chose Airtel or Vodafone, etc. I got a message that I'm "Not subscribed to Data Plans." However, when I chose Aircel manually and connected, I was able to access Internet.
From Bangalore, I went to Thiruvananthapuram. In Kerala, I faced the same issue. In fact in Thiruvananthapuram and in Poovar, I could not get Aircel at all. I could not access Internet from any other carrier. When we drove to Kanyakumari from Poovar, the instant we entered Tamil Nadu, my phone connected to the Internet and once we were back into Kerala, it stopped connecting to the Internet.
My Data Roaming is on.
I Reset my Network Settings also.
I'm afraid Aircel Customer Care is not helpful.
Has anyone faced similar issues and managed to resolve it.

Definitely you need to activate your roming aur you are not in 3g coverage area you need to change your network 3g to 2g
- Using my O2 free mobile data in Spain - do I turn data roaming on or will this charge? It's now free to text and call and use mobile data in Europe and I'm on contract with O2 and have unlimited everything. I'm just wondering if on my iPhone I have to turn data roaming on to get this or will this charge me? How does it work? As when I turn on my mobile data without data roaming the 3G doesn't work until I actually turn on data roaming?

Should I put my iPhones IP address into the remote management page where it says "allow remote access by only this computer" or would I be able to add the log in page to blocked sites and allow my iPhone to access blocked sites?
- How to UNBLOCK iPhone from accessing Wi-Fi? I think my phone's been blocked from accessing Wi-Fi. My brother does something in cmd.exe (on his computer) to prevent certain gadgets here in the house from accessing Wi-Fi. How can I unblock my phone on my own?
