Problems with auxiliary port in car?

I wan play AM and FM radio stations and CD's in my '05 beetle and hear it through all 4 speakers but when I plug in anything in the auxiliary port it plays through the drivers door speaker and through the rear passenger speakers but not the front passenger speaker. I checked to see if the wire just wasn't in all the way on the speaker and the iphone and they were. What could be causing this and how can I fix it?

Get a new head unit to fix it

If its only doing it when you use the auxiliary, it could always be the auxiliary cord. I've bought cheaper cords and they maybe lasted 2 weeks. The tend to short very easily. If it isn't that, then I don't know what it could be if you said you already checked the wires.

There's something wrong with the aux interface, the audio needs to go to all 4 speakers or the cable is broken

check the cable if it looks good you need to replace the VW Beetle auxiliary interface

The best way is to replace it with a new car head unit. Just as if you take it fixed, it will not be cheap.

Their is no problem with your head unit. I had the same problem and it took me long to figure out the problem. The problem is with your auxillary cord, get a new.

  • Why port forwarding on port 80? I have a foscam home security camera and it needs port forwarding on port 80 if I want to use my iphone to view it from outside. Surely enough, it works as soon as I open that port. But isn't port 80 open by default? Else how could I view http websites in the first place. I don't get it. It's already open so why open it again?
  • Why does my 2010 car not have an aux port? I have a 2010 Chevrolet Colorado truck. It doesn't have an auxiliary port to plug my iPhone into, and it frustrates me because I hate having to make CDs.
  • IPhone 4 won't play USB port in car? I bought a new car stereo with a USB port and my phone won't play it says error. Phone is running iOS 6.
  • If I buy a new stereo for my car with a USB port can it work in any car? My stereo in my 1998 transport just died. This surprisingly excited me. I just got a new IPhone and I'm constantly installing new music. I'm wondering if I can buy a radio with a USB port and put it in my 98 transport even though my car didn't come with a USB port in the radio. Is this at all possible?
