Problems with iphone 5s headphones socket?
I tried many apple headphones but it seems like the problem is in my phone not lthe headphones so whenever i plug in the headphone it works just fine with the volume isn't up but when i try and raise it a bit it only works in one earbud and with really noisy voice so is there a way to fix this myself?
Move the thing that's connected to the iphone left and right till its perfect (happens to me)
If this happen with All headphones/earbuds with this device, then I would bet that it is a dirty socket. Get yourself some fat pipecleaners (*fuzzy sticks*) at a craft store, Walmart, etc. (If you buy them in any kind of audio or technical place, they will cost a tone more - same stuff.) BARELY dampen one end with a solution like windex. GENTLY wipe out the socket like cleaning a baby's ear. Give things a chance to dry - then try the headphones again. If you can twist the plug in the socket and hear static or crackling in BOTH earbuds - not even at the same time, but they both crackle - then this isi DIRT. Micro-dirt -but still enough to break the completion of the audio circuit. I have rescued tons of earbuds this way, and clean my own at least once a week - I sleep with one set, at I'm sure they pick up dust and lint, no matter how clean we're. Worth a try.
- Will my iPhone alarm go off with headphones plugged in? I like to listen to music before I fall asleep, but I use my iPhone as my alarm for work in the morning. If I fall asleep with my headphones in, will the alarm still go off (like on the phone speakers, not just the headphones)?
- Will a 110-220v iphone charger work in a 230v socket? I'm wondering if i should give it a try, or if it could potentially cause damage. If it did cause damage, would it be to my iphone, the power supply, or both?
- Why are Iphone chargers designed so the plug is difficult to pull out of socket? It pisses me off! Hairdryer plugs, hair straightener plugs are fine, i can get a good grip and pull them out easily but Ipod/Iphone plugs are so stupid! When i take my charger out i break a nail trying to pull the damn thing out!
- My normal headphones won't work after using Bluetooth headphones? (iPhone 7)? I've been using AirPods for a couple months now and the battery is getting pretty bad so I decided to get some plug-in Apple headphones but those don't work. When I plug them in I get a "not supported" notification. I've also tried friends headphones that worked fine on there phone, so I know it's not just faulty wires.
