Pros and cons of iOS 7 on iPhone 4 and would you recommend updating?
Absolutely. There are many new features on iOS 7, such as the notifications, which are very helpful. People are just too critical of this operating system and expect way to much, when in reality, it is a simple software upgrade. You should absolutely upgrade so that you can get the most out of your iPhone.
Pros:
Lots of new features and a better design and layout, they are already apps that have been optimised for ios7 and although they are still fine to use with older versions in time apps will require ios7 to run so it is better to stay updated.
Cons:
On phones prior to the iphone 5 it can slow it down, my husband notices the difference between his 4s and my 5 but it is not intolerable, i have heard some iphone 4 users say it is very slow but this has been remedied by clearing the settings and they have been happy with the improvement and there are plenty of tips and advice on the apple forums to help with that and to help if it drains your battery as some people find it does.
Yes I would recommend the update, it's a fresh look and additional features make you feel like you are holding a new phone plus you are keeping up to date which is always a good thing and if you don't like it then you can change back.

I updated my iphone 4 & it just dosnt work well with it…
Battery drains, though there's a fix for that documented online, still drains quicker than before.
Main problem… It slows the phone down, takes ages for apps to open & load, to search for anything… & so far i haven't found a fix for that. (Just asked that question on here).
Just a personal thing, but i preferred the ios6 look of the apps & pages to the ios7, but hey, you might like it, lots of people do.
Good luck choosing, but be sure, because you can't install. I had a perfectly good working phone which i loved before i upgraded, now, not so much.

- What are the pros and cons of a sprint and tmobile merge? Will my coverage speeds change? Will my Tmobile iPhone 5c be technically be running off of sprints network? Sprint is just downright terrible. I don't want to be paying a cent for service I can't use. Please tell me this isn't the case. TMobile uses HSPA+ network, and sprint uses CDMA. Those technologies are 2 totally different technologies, therefore probably rendering them incompatible.
