Proxy server isn't responding? - 1
My dell laptop won't connect to Internet explorer or google chrome. Every time I try it says proxy server isn't responding. I've looked up some possible solutions but have had no luck. I tried going into the internet options and unclicking the use a proxy server. Doesn't work just goes right back to having the check in the box. I have also ran malware bytes which found nothing. Please someone help it's driving me insane and killing the battery on my iPhone because that's the only Internet access I have at the moment.
What kind of LAN are you on and what is the IP address of the proxy? If you are logged into a Windows domain at work a proxy might be set by domain policy. But if that is a home network and you have not installed any proxy or VPN that would be very suspicious.
If you can, you might try Malwarebytes and anti-virus scanning the drive as a secondary drive on another computer. I had to do that when accidentally going to bogus website when trying to install Chrome and ended up with Binkiland browser with adware/malware. But Malwarebytes installed at that time could not clean it up (even booted to safe mode). I had to scan the drive from another computer to remove the bad files (from there Malwarebytes was able to find a bunch of files and AVG also quarantined one). Then with it back in my laptop booted to safe mode, uninstalled/reinstalled Malwarebytes, and then Malwarebytes was able to remove the rest of the garbage from the registry.
Run Reason Core Security. Download the installation file onto a thumb drive from another computer and then run it. Let me know if it doesn't work.
My name is Soumya and I work for the Social Media and Community Team at Dell. I appreciate your efforts. Please go to Start > Control Panel > Internet Options > Connections > LAN settings > Check the top box, but make sure all the other boxes are unchecked. Especially the bottom one, use a proxy server

- Server unavailable - can't access server - iPhone? Just wondering if anyone is having server issues? I've been unable to log on on my iPhone in about a week now. Keep getting 'server unavailable - please try again later' or 'can't access server'! I can access it if I go through safari app tho. Any advise would be great. Cheers
- My iPhone 5s isn't responding I have a iphone 5s and it seems that my phone isn't responding when I click/touch it. When I open my phone I try to slide or open a app. And if I do open the app it will just freeze and i can't do anything. I can't even double click and slide up because it won't slide up!
- My iphone 4s has a black screen, and isn't responding? I tried holding the power button because I figured it needed to be charged (had like 3 percent) but it didn't respond. Any ideas on what's wrong?
