If you have lockd the Phone PIN code:
use iTunes to reload /reset the phone
and use a backup (itunes or icloud) to put the numbers back (use your appleID)
If It is only the SIM card that is Locked (the phone is OK)
Then go to the network for the SIM card
They will give you a PUK code (about 8 numbers)
you have 10 chances to enter it… Then it is complely locked and you need a new SIM
You could also get a new SIM card from the network for your number
(same number, same contract new not-locked SIM)
- What happens after incorrectly entering a PUK code 10 times? My sister brought home an Iphone 4 or 4s from work a couple years ago after no one claimed it. I never touched it until now just looking through it. Well the Sim is locked ofcourse and there's no password on it. All I want to do is play games so what would happen if I put in the wrong PUK 10 times? Can it erase everything? Will it notify the carrier? Will it entirely lock me out? What happens if I factory set?
