Radio that works without internet on iPhone?

I can't stay connected to the internet 24/7 and so i'm unable to listen to the radio on my iPhone when i'm not connected to the internet
All the radio apps at appstore work only when connected to the internet
So, is there no radio app at all which i could listen to even when disconnected to the internet

No, a radio app has to stream music from somewhere, ie the internet. So your music on your iphone is the only way.

An app is software. The iPhone has no hardware for broadcast radio, so there's no way an app can play radio without being connected.

This is the downside of these so-called smartphones - they are totally reliant on internet connection.

On the other hand, my not-very-smart phone, a Sony-Ericsson C905, has FM radio hardware built in, so I can listen to radio without being connected.

For you, the best alternative will be to put loads of music on phone from your computer, and play that while you are not connected.

Can I just buy an prepaid sim for it? And how will it work? Do I have to buy a certain amount of credit every month? Or buy a special iPhone prepaid sim if that exist? I live in the Netherlands btw.
