Received post from previous owners?
My mum had signed a package thinking i ordered it and opened it and asked me about it. I told her i didn't order anything and then she checked the address and it turns out it is someone who we believe lived here a few years ago. It was an iphone xr which came in the post. What should we do and who do we contact? We do not know the person who it was for apart from their name, btw.
Call the shipper. The name/number should be on the return address in the corner.
You need to send it back to the place it came from. This should not cost you anything. Contact them and ask them to email you an address label. They can also arrange for the item to be picked up. Does not matter where the mistake happened, this phone does not belong to you and you can't keep it.
You are obliged only to inform the sender that the parcel has been delivered in error and it is then their responsibility to arrange within a reasonable period, say 28 days from notification, for its collection/ return. After such time regard the item(s) as your property
Return it to the sender. It's not yours.
Pack it up and write "return to sender." Make sure you notify the company and tell them you're sending it back.
Maybe Apple Corporation could give their responsibilities for this?

- Why do Ipod touch 4g owners complain that they don't have an Iphone 4g? I go to highschool and I only hear highschoolers complaining about this and younger people complaining about this.
