Recording lectures in college?
Can I get an accessory for my iPhone to do this? And then transfer to my computer to listen to later… The stock microphone on my iPhone sucks now, but is there like a good plug in one I can use?
Or am I better off getting a separate recorder? Also what should I look for in a microphone if its a small class >13 people In a smallish room
Buy a separate recorder. You can get a pretty decent one by Sony or Olympus in any Radio Shack of Best Buy. It should have USB port so you can plug it straight into your computer later.
Another possibility is get a Bluetooth conference speakerphone and use THAT to record (just mute any output on the phone side) but that may cost MORE than the recorder. You'll have to try it.
- What tablet should i buy for college? - 1 I have a Macbook Pro and an iPhone 5. That's why I was thinking of getting the iPad 5 when it comes out in the summer. But what other tablet is best for college? I was also thinking about the Galaxy Note 10.1 because of the pen… What about the Nexus 10? Powerful and cheap, but no stylus and laggy. Transformer Prime? Pretty good, I haven't heard anything horrible so far. Any other tablets?
- Suddenly can't connect to college dorm Wi-Fi? I have an Asus laptop running windows 7. My friends laptops and my iPhone and tablet can all connect to the Wi-Fi here but recently my laptop hasn't been able to identify the Internet. Before whenever this would happen I would restart my computer and I could connect. But not not even that works.

Moving into the dorms for my second year of college and want to buy some crystal clear speakers that will hook up to my laptop and/or iphone so any suggestions? - Setting up a College-given Hotmail account in Mail or Sparrow for iPhone? I attend a school where the email given is hotmail, but the address is not xxxx@hotmail.com. When I try to access my account on Mail or Sparrow on my iPhone, I can't get it to work. It either says that it can't connect, or asks for ingoing/outgoing servers, etc.etc. And then tells me it can't connect. If anyone has any ideas for Mail or Sparrow they would be much appreciated! I will use whichever I can get to work, so please let me know if you have ideas for either app.
