Recording videos with a Wi-Fi digital camera for use on my iphone?

I've been wanting to record music covers for a while now but it's proven difficult to find a suitable camcorder to do this. As I don't have a laptop I will have to use a camera/camcorder with Wi-Fi to upload the recordings onto my iPhone. It isn't efficient but I hope it will do. Could using a Wi-Fi digital camera work?

Anything is possible - you can upload the video from the camcorder to the iPhone to view - and even edit in iMovie (though we don't know which iPhone you have) and upload… And there are some supplied templates. But the small screen can be a challenge (I prefer my 27 inch iMac and external 27 inch monitor).

I've done a couple using my iPhone and a Sony HDR AS30V action cam… Assuming the the "Wi-Fi digital camera" you get will play nicely with your iPhone, what you want to do is possible - but it takes more effort (in my opinion) than learning a regular computer based video editor and getting the video into the computer…

There are cameras with built-n Wi-Fi, there are others for which you can buy a Wi-Fi add-on attachment, and then there are Wi-Fi SD cards (EyeFi).
