Redsn0w not recognizing IPSW?
I'm trying to jailbreak ios 6.0 iphone 4 i have the correct ipsw and the latest dev4 version of redsn0w and it says your current firmware is not supported with this version of redsn0w.ppl on youtube did this and i downloaded the same firmware and redsn0w version. WAT DO I DO
What version is your iphone? Like 3.2.1 or 4.5.1 go to your settings then to About. It should tell you. And sometimes you have to download the firmware like ipsw4 is needed for your 6.0 but you might actually need ipsw3.
Well it worked on my ipod touch 4g
You have to manually select ipsw by clicking on extras then select ipsw then choose the ios 6 firmware
Now click back and jailbreak and then your good to go but cydia is not installed yet.

- Unlocked iPhone 3 not recognizing T-Mobile SIM card? I unlocked my iPhone using redsn0w and it worked perfectly, but when I put in my SIM card it just says "searching" at the top. I tried using a new SIM and my old one but neither are working (both are from T-Mobile). Should I wait awhile longer or do I need to do something else now?
